Francesca Berlingieri Maxwell - short film in progress

I am currently working on my own short animation film.

I am writing the script, storyboarding, designing sets and characters, working out the lighting and the camera moves, and sampling the music and the voices that will bring it to life.

It is a challenging process that stretches all my creative muscles, my imagination and my experience.

 

It takes place in a dense woodland in the pale blue light just before dawn. There is a figure curled up at the foot of a tree: Alba. Suddenly the deep silence is broken by the distant howl of a wolf. Alba is not alone. Will she be able to cross the woods and the lake and get home in time for breakfast?
